Summer Reading Program - Clay Center Public Library

  • Clay Center Public Library 117 West Edgar Street Clay Center, NE, 68933 United States (map)

Once again the Clay Center Public Library will have a Summer Reading Program. This program is open to every child in the area, ages Pre-K through 6th grade. There will be a sign-up sheet at the library, but you do not have to have your child signed up to come to any or all of the sessions.

Summer Reading will start June 7th and run through August 2nd. Sessions will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Our final session will be a party at the park on Friday, August 4th at 10:00 am.

We will have music, songs and stories. We will also plant some vegetables. Holy from the extension office will stop by a few times with some fun activities. Since our theme this year is Building a Better World, we will have stay and play time. The kids can build with different types of blocks at the end of each session.

Please mark your calendars for this year's Summer Reading Program. We hope to see you at the library this summer!
